INFORMATION
This baby of six months old was wrapped in newspaper and set alight. The baby's parents were also murdered.

This could be your baby, or someone you love and cherish.
This was the result of an innocent farmer having been shot with a shotgun from behind his head! This farmer was ambushed by his attackers when he returned home from a church sermon on a Sunday morning.

This could be your brother
A gang of six men broke into the house of this elderly farmer and waited for him to return from town. He was caught the morning and tied down with ropes. He was burnt by the six barbarians using cigarettes, his fingers were cut off and he was tortured for hours on end. Late the afternoon his body was covered in black plastic bags and set alight.

This could be your father
This is what yet another innocent farmer looked like when his throat was slit by his attackers, after they had burgled his house and he had been stabbed and hacked with knives and other weapons. His throat was slit and he was left in the bathroom of his house.

This could be YOU
Could this be you, your brother, husband or God forbid, your son?
This is the reality that all South Africans, irrsepective of race, religion or sex have to fear every day. Do you care?
If you want to see the photo's of my late son, Jay Hirschberg's body parts, then please do not ask me. I could not bear to look at them when offered by the inquest magistrate when she gave me a copy of the docket. You will have to ask Inspector Werner Eksteen of the Honeydew police.

Looking at these photo's.and publishing them has been one of the toughest and trying times of my life. My sincerest apologies and condolences to the families of those in the photo's. I was sent this as a PowerPoint show.

My tears lie on each and every key of my keyboard for all of you, me and all those who will die in my beloved country, South Africa, tomorrow, the next day, and the future

God help us, because the South African police cannot.
