Crime pays, victims suffer

Nine out of 10 violent criminals get away with it. That is the main finding of the latest report on the state of the South African criminal justice system.

Mother calls abductors "varke" (pigs) If they are arrested, the law can deal with them.
10 Year old Liam Aspeling has been found. "I just want my son back. The law can deal with the people who took him (if they are arrested) as it sees fit." However, while pointing to the spot where he was taken, she referred to Liam's abductors as "varke" (pigs).  Read the full story
